Quick Update
I just got married whooopeee!
Updates:
1. About 13 or so days ago, Ccleaner (formerly known as Crap Cleaner) released version 2 of their freeware. It had a bug; it no longer cleaned out temporary Internet files. They released a new version, v2.01.507, 2 days ago and this seems to have fixed the problem, basing on preliminary forum feedback (as of October 30, 3:44pm, GMT +08). For first time users of this excellent PC almost-all-in-one-wonder cleaner, get instructions on how to use it from the Tweakguides Tweaking Companion; they are on page 97 of the Windows XP version.
I still have not tried it though; busy. Tomorrow, mayhap.
2. Nvidia has just released a WHQL update. I still have not benchmarked the 163.67 XG Drivers. (See my article on this.) Sorry for the delay but a series of (mostly) fortunate events took up my time. =)

thanks for sharing ytour resourcefulness, Shaz. i just spent the surprisingly smooth 20mins online, am still updating software and still in the dark as to what caused the display hangs in my pc. is there any way i could share the screenshots i took during the glitches so anyone who went thru the same observation and solved it could share their know-how?

Hmm. You could give them to me an I will post it here but I doubt someone will comment in a short span of time. The best way for that is to host ur pics in www.imageshack.us, register in a tech forum and ask. Quick replies I tell you.
